Warren Nixon has joined the lab as an MRes student for an exciting observational study on how set, setting influence psychedelic experiences and - in turn - mental health and wellbeing outcomes. Warren did their undergraduate Psychology dissertation in the lab on similar observational work. Great to have you back!

We are running a survey assessing how early-life adversity, naturalistic psychedelic use and and mental health outcomes interact. We are looking for both psychedelics users (classic psychedelics like magic mushrooms, LSD, DMT, but also non-classic like ketamine and MDMA) and people that never used psychedelics. Survey link

Congratulations to Giammarco Di Gregorio, PhD student in the lab, for winning the poster prize at the British Neuroscience Association (BNA) North East meeting (and a one year BNA subscription)! Giammarco's poster outlined preclinical and observational work on serotonin, psychedelics, neuroplasticity and mental health.
